5 Pointed Roofies.

Posted on December 20, 2023January 16, 2024

Most people look at high rise construction sites and think “Wow, that building is tall” or maybe “Jeez another high rise?” For urban explorers though, we see nothing but opportunity. A chance to get in first, to shoot photos at vantage points never seen before. We see all the angles of how to sneak in, how to move silently through the shadows undetected, how to sneak in illegally. And then the crushing realization.

The realization that you’re at the bottom of a 50-80 flights of stairs, and to use the construction elevator would certainly wake up the security guards…

Challenge accepted.

This set is from my home town, Long Island City., from the top of the rather ugly high rises that replaced the internationally recognized former 5PTZ graffiti gallery.
